  1. I like the addition of a solar panel, going green with your Rube Goldberg

  2. I have just one question, why do you have a line of dominoes if the car plows through them faster then they can fall? Other than the last block that falls on the pressure sensor they didn't do anything.

    1. The line of dominoes are more of a safeguard in case the car doesn't reach the end of the line or we do a poor estimate of the distance the car will travel before stopping. That way if it is short the dominoes will still trigger my circuit.

  3. Using magnetic force on the force sensor was such a great idea! It makes the setup sure to work every time instead of possible failure.

  4. Good job on explaining your setup. I noticed that the catapult wasn't working out today. Hopefully it all runs perfectly this Wednesday!

    1. Funny thing, I was messing with the knobs earlier and had forgotten to turn the current knob back up to where it needed it to be to completely pull back the catapult.

  6. The addition of the magnet is really cool and I like the perfect mixture of circuitry and mechanical components. Nice job.

  7. Everything looks good from the videos, but I noticed that the display wasn’t flashing back and forth (the good-bye that it) like you said it was going to in the explanation video. Was something not working or did you simply change your setup? -Andrew

    1. At the point of the video I hadn't gotten my timer to work to flash back it forth, it worked during the demo on Monday.

  8. Wow, this is definitely my favorite RG all around. I like that the car is a very compact yet complicated, and still allows for about 10 seconds. And the second part of the circuit is pretty insane, seven 7-segment displays is a ton. And you made a catapult work. Hard to top that. Well done.

  9. This project seemed like it was alot of work but overall the turnout was good. Most of us had our board stationary and never thought of actually being able to move it. The board on the car was a cool project and I know it was on the tougher side to do, so good job!
